dwall-e

Explore physics. Understand reality.

An interactive physics lab for school students: change the values, watch what happens, understand why.

  • 65 simulations
  • 8 areas of physics
  • 4 levels
  • 2 languages

How students learn here

Physics you can touch

  1. 1

    Change a value

Angle, mass, voltage, wavelength — every topic has sliders, presets and switches.

  2. 2

    Watch it happen

Animations follow the real equations step by step, with vectors, labels and live readings.

  3. 3

    Understand why

Theory, formulas and challenges explain what you saw — and what was simplified.

From Newton to the Higgs boson

Every topic is a living experiment

Real recordings from the app. Click a video to watch it large.

One template for every topic

Inside each simulation

  • Controls with presets and hints
  • Live readings and graphs
  • Challenges that check the physics, not the slider
  • Theory, formulas and the meaning of every symbol
  • Every simplification shown honestly
  • Links to related topics

Ages 10 to 18

Four levels, one lab

The same topic grows with the student: more controls, readings, graphs and formulas at every level.

1

Beginner

Few controls, big pictures, no heavy maths.

2

Intermediate

More variables, formulas and live values.

3

Advanced

Vectors, components, graphs and precise settings.

4

Expert

Full control for teachers and curious minds.

The whole course

65 topics in eight areas

Georgian science

Andronikashvili's experiment

Elephter Andronikashvili, born in Tbilisi, measured the superfluid fraction of liquid helium with a stack of rotating discs. In dwall-e students repeat his experiment and see why the pendulum swings faster below 2.17 K.

Topics that matter beyond the school course are marked "Important" in the app.

Always at hand

Formulas and units

All formulas from all topics in one searchable place, with the meaning of every symbol — filtered for the student's level. Next to them: a guide to every unit, from the metre to the electronvolt.

Made for classrooms

Correct, calm and open to everyone

Physics you can trust

Every model is checked against analytic results by more than a thousand automated tests.

Works offline

No internet and no account needed. Progress stays on the computer.

Georgian and English

Every text, label and formula description in both languages.

Up to date

From Galileo to gravitational waves, the Higgs boson and Artemis — with current data.

Free

For students, teachers and schools — on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Calm design

Light and dark themes, adjustable text size, information never shown by colour alone.
